ITS is proud to announce the successful completion of our annual SOC audit — with an expanded scope that now includes our managed services processes and procedures under the SOC 2 framework.
Our previous audits only covered our data center and related processes and services. This year, we added our managed services practice to the scope of the audit. In preparation of this additional scope, ITS implemented technology to increase efficiency and provide process oversight.
What Is SOC 2?
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is a widely respected auditing framework developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). It evaluates a service provider’s information systems relevant to:
- Security — Protection against unauthorized access
- Availability — System accessibility as agreed upon
- Processing Integrity — Accurate and complete system processing
- Confidentiality — Protection of confidential information
- Privacy — Personal information handling practices
This framework is especially relevant for businesses that manage or host sensitive client data.
